Default Video of the Rx7 racing

found this video online of the Rx7 racing a Lingenfelter 383 Z06 Vette way back when. It was a 3rd/4th gear pull. The camera car is an '02 M3, watch how both cars leave the M3 like its standing still. Pretty close race, but the Vette did edge him out up top by about a car. Found out later the Vette makes about 490rwhp.

Here's a video of the same Z06 trapping 123...

The RX7 is to little for me. Like I was telling Tim, I have a friend with one, and it was the tightest most uncomfortable Ive ever been in a car. Plus its hard to carry two car seats in a FD body LOL. Could tether them to the roof though....hmmm. One center seat, and tether the kids to a roof or spoiler....

Wrong RX7. I thought that Z car was the one in Pensacola. Same person?

I took a guy for a ride in the RX7 today. We were on Chalkville Mountain road pulling up to a stop light. The car in front of us was an older Oldsmobile. As I was idling up, I saw that it was 3 younger guys in the car. All 3 of them were turned around looking at us saying something. I couldn't tell what it was they were wanting, but as we pulled away from the light, I waited until the lane to the right was clear and punched it in second. As camaronut will attest, if you floor it in second (even if you roll into it) it will break loose after about 4k rpm till redline, but the forward thrust is so much it keeps the car pretty straight. Well I zoomed up past the Oldsmobile "wiggling" a little bit...shifted to 3rd and darted past them. I then slowed right back down to the speed limit and cruised down the road until I turned off to get on the interstate. As I turned off, the guys in the Oldsmobile passed on the left, with 2 of them hanging out the window yelling something. lol I couldn't tell exactly what they were saying, but they had a look on their face like they just jizzed their pants. lol

Unless you're talking about the car Matt was referring to for sale, you are indeed talking about the wrong RX7. The RX7 in the video is parked in my garage right now and can be seen in my sig below.

...and yes, the Z car was from Pensacola. But that video was from about 3 years ago. No telling where that car is now. It very well could be in Auburn.
